As competitive video gaming is becoming mainstream, it's grown into a full industry as a part of sports culture. The explosion has opened the door for opportunities to capture the market and profit. As the number of business ventures bloom, Eports Bootcamps wants to take part and reach the next generation by curating expert level live social and educational sessions to teach players the skills, strategy, and dexterity needed to excel.
Before coming on board and taking part in the venture, I discussed in detail the ideas surrounding the creation of Esports Bootcamps. I wanted to understand what the founders were looking for and present what I could bring from a UX/UI perspective.
The main challenges faced at the beginning were:
1. Keeping the core features simple, yet create a well-built mobile-first interactive platform capable of point of sale (POS), account creation, and bootcamp management.
2. Delievery of each feature on a 5 day sprint timeline.
